RCI awards Hotel Xcaret México for its excellence in service

Two new awards laud the resort’s quality standards

The pride of belonging to México Destination Club shines with every award, acknowledgement and certification obtained. Last April, we reported two new awards given by RCI to Hotel Xcaret México and México Destination Club: the Gold Crown Resort Award 2019 and the President’s Club Award 2020, both lauding the Hotel’s performance and high ratings from guests and members. 

The spirits were still up when RCI announced a few days ago, that Hotel Xcaret México had again obtained another two awards: the Premier Plus Award and the RCI Excellence in Service Resort Award. 

And on top of this, the resort was also awarded the RCI Gold Crown Resort Award for 2020, for the third consecutive year. 

Without a doubt, these awards constitute solid examples about the quality standards handled by Hotel Xcaret México; as well as a great addition to the high membership value at México Destination Club. Keep reading to learn more about these awards. 

RCI Premier Plus All Inclusive 2020 Award 

This relatively new award replaces the “All-Inclusive Destination” program, and acknowledges excellence in terms of service, quality and facilities in the Mandatory All-Inclusive category, from the largest vacation exchange company in the world. To obtain this award, a property must: 

  • Obtain the Gold Crown award based on the comment cards filled out by RCI members. 
  • Obtain a minimum 4.5 grade in the Check-In/Out, Hospitality and Cleaning areas 
  • Obtain a minimum 4.5 grade in the Food and Drink area 
  • Obtain a minimum 4.2 grade in the All-Inclusive Value area 
  • Obtain a minimum 4.5 grade in TripAdvisor reviews 
  • Feature 4 or 5 AAA Diamonds 
  • Obtain the Excellence in Service Award

RCI Excellence in Service Award 

The other award bestowed to Hotel Xcaret México and México Destination Club is an additional acknowledgment for hotels who already feature a Gold Crown Resort Award that exceed their guests’ expectations. The award, as its name says, is based on the service quality, the efficiency in the checkout process, hospitality and suite cleanliness.
