One of the most original and entertaining culinary options at Hotel Xcaret México can be found at Teatro del Río restaurant, which brings back the concept of “dinner, dance, and entertainment,” which was very popular during the 1980s and 1990s in Mexico, especially in the capital, Mexico City. 

Located in a privileged setting in front of the Xpiral Pyramid, Teatro del Río offers two dining schedules for guests to enjoy a performance, either Mexico y Olé or Caribbean Show, combining music, dance, and theater to tell the stories of Mexican and Caribbean cultures, showcasing the talent, passion, and commitment that characterizes Grupo Xcaret’s performances. 

This unique restaurant delights guests and members with a five-course tasting menu, including a delicious dessert, accompanied by six exclusive artisanal beverages crafted specifically for the restaurant, refreshing and delightful. 

Although the menu evolves over time, it currently offers a variety of seafood and meat dishes accompanied by local ingredients and seasonings, such as the Oaxacan chilhuacle chili, complementing the octopus tostada, or the green sikil pak, a delicious Yucatecan salsa, dressing a salad.

The performance take place on a floating stage in a natural river setting, and diners can enjoy a delightful six-course menu while enjoying the performance, savoring a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, as well as some modern interpretations. The dinner is paired with a selection of wines and cocktails.
