Grupo Xcaret Shines at the IAAPA: Latin America, Caribbean 2023 Conference
The event fostered new connections among industry players in the entertainment sector in the region
Grupo Xcaret once again demonstrated its leadership in sustainable tourism recreation during the IAAPA: Latin America, Caribbean Conference, standing out for its multiple contributions to the event, from keynote speeches to educational tours of some of the most iconic sites in the Riviera Maya.
Over the course of four days, participants attended various conferences, lectures, educational experiences, and tours of some of the trendiest recreational destinations in the region, with three Grupo Xcaret parks taking the spotlight: Xavage, Xplor, and Xenses.
It is worth noting that in 2021, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) recognized the iconic stage production “Xcaret México Espectacular” as the Best Theatrical Production, and previously, Xcaret Park as a Must-See Waterpark.

EDUTours in the Riviera Maya: exploring the region’s new icons
In addition to the talks and conferences, the IAAPA Conference also offered the opportunity to go behind the scenes of some of the most unique tourist attractions in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, gaining firsthand knowledge of their operations, processes, best practices, sustainability focus, and a deeper understanding of the industry.
Grupo Xcaret invited participants to tour the facilities of the renowned parks Xavage, Xplor, and Xenses on the last two days of the conference.
On Wednesday afternoon, attendees had the chance to learn more about the procedures, safety operations, and the unique environment of Xavage, which also hosted a business connections reception.
On Thursday, the participants were divided into two groups to make the most of the experience at Xplor and Xenses. At Xplor, they could appreciate how to integrate the environment, in this case, its incredible caves, to create unique activities.
