How to use your RCI Exchange Weeks

One outstanding feature of your México Destination Club membership is the possibility to exchange your weeks at the Hotels by Grupo Xcaret with other properties worldwide, thanks to our strategic alliance with RCI. 

As a pioneer company in the vacation exchange concepts, RCI (Resorts Condominiums International) has operated since 1974, allowing its affiliates access to more than 4,300 resorts in more than 100 countries. 

México Destination Club offers members from every level (except Blue Diamond and Black) a free subscription to RCI for two years, along with the following benefits: 

· Use the number of exchange weeks in your contract to travel to developments affiliated with RCI in more than 100 countries worldwide. 

· Bookings with no date or unit size restrictions. 

· The possibility of making multiple deposits for exchange weeks all year long, as long as they do not exceed the total amount stipulated in your contract. 

It is essential to mention that if you select an all-inclusive property, the exchange weeks will only cover the lodging price, and the all-inclusive fee will be charged separately. 

How to transfer your exchange weeks 

1. Sign up on the www.rci.com website with the ID number you received in your affiliation to this strategic alliance. 

2. Choose your destination and hotel development from the available weeks’ inventory on the website. 

3. Call México Destination Club’s Member Services Center and ask for the deposit of your required seven-night lot for your chosen destination and development.

4. Pay the management fee at México Destination Club. 

5. Two labor days later, log in to the RCI website and make your reservation by paying the exchange fee at RCI and the fee to combine, in case it applies. 

6. Get your confirmation. 

Finally, Blue Diamond and Black memberships have special privileges and access to an exclusive property catalog (The Registry Collection).
